Product Features:

The evaporator is formed by repeatedly bending aluminum tubing into multiple layers of square frames. It features a pure coil structure without any aluminum plate attached. The unit comes complete with copper-to-aluminum transition joints and a capillary tube assembly (the thin copper coil shown in the illustration is the capillary assembly).

It is installed around the door frame of the freezer compartment or along the inner walls of the liner in refrigerators. Cooling is achieved through natural convection, where the tube walls directly absorb heat from the air inside the compartment.

Applications:

• Old-style direct-cooling refrigerators and two-door refrigerator freezer compartments (widely used in early models)
